  • ½ Tbsp fresh garlic, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 6 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp canned tomato purée
  • 1 tsp tomato sauce
