Ingredients
- Tzatziki:
- 1 pint sour cream or Greek-style super thick yogurt
- 1 English cucumber, peeled, grated on a box grater and squeezed to remove as much water as possible (see note)
- 3 garlic cloves, mashed to a paste
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbs. red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbs. minced fresh dill or 1 tsp. dried dill salt
- Burgers:
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 C. crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 C. olives, chopped (I usually use chopped salad olives)
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 1 tsp. dried basil (optional)
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 onion hamburger buns
Description
I Thought I Didn't Like Ground Turkey - Until I Tried These What A Lovely Surprise. You Can Spread The Tzatziki On The Burger Or Bun Or Dip Your Burger In It, Serve On Pita With Tahini, Tomatoes And Lettuce Or Even Use It As A Salad Dress
