Jam Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients

    2/3 cup butter, softened
    1/2 cup sugar (1/4 cup Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking)
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
    (2 slightly beaten egg whites and 1 cup finely chopped walnuts if you want to roll cookies into nuts. This is not part of the nutritional information)
    1/3 to 1/2 cup strawberry, cherry or apricot jam or preserves (not included in nutrition)
