Rachel Ray Beer Braised Shrimp & Louisiana Salsa & Rice

Ingredients

    4 cloves of garlic, grated or finely chopped
    6-8 ribs of celery from the heart, chopped
    1 large green bell pepper chopped
    1 medium red onion chopped
    2 Tbsp thyme
    4 Tbsp unsalted butter
    2 cups jasmine rice (prepared per direction)
    2 1/2 low sodium chicken broth
    salt and black pepper to taste
    2 red jalapeno chile peppers, very thinly sliced
    1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes
    2 limes
    2 Tbsp EVOO
    2 lbs of large shrimp, peeled, deveined
    1 Tbsp McCormick Old Bay Seasoning
    1 Tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
    1/4 cup hot sauce
    1 bottle beer (12oz)
    3 Tbsp unsalted butter
    1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced at an angle
