Rose's Shrimp Chow Mein

Ingredients

    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Mushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slices (remove)
    *Bean sprouts, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Chow Mein Noodles, 2 cup (remove)
    *beef boullion cube, 1 serving (remove)
    Cider Vinegar, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Brown Sugar, 1 tsp unpacked (remove)
    *Ketchup, Heinz, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Garlic, 2 cloves (remove)
    Cabbage, fresh, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Shrimp, raw, 15 medium (remove)
    1 tbsp chopped or minced ginger
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1/8 tsp anise (if you desire)
    in large pot
    saute onion, celery, garlic, and cabbage
    till tender add bean sprouts, noodles, and shrimp
    combine vinegar, ketchup, sugar and boullion cube in 1 cup hot water
    add liquid to vegetable and shrimp mix. add spices and simmer for 15 min.
