    Salad:
    6 boneless, thin-cut pork chops (about 1-1/2 pounds total)
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
    1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
    1 cup bean sprouts
    1 large sweet red pepper, cored, seeded and thinly sliced
    3 large scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced
    1 can (2.8 ounces) fried onions (optional)
