Artichoke And Goat's Cheese Tart



  • 250g plain flour
  • 125g cold butter or margarine
  • a pinch of salt
  • 75ml water


  • 10g butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 80g grated cheese (gruyere)
  • 1 small tin artichoke hearts cut into 2 mm slices
  • 100g full fat soft goats cheese
  • 250ml whipping or double cream
  • 5 mint leaves shredded
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg
