  • 1/2 cup  thin wedges red or yellow onion
  • 1/2 of a  green sweet pepper, cut in bite-size strips (1/2 cup)
  • 2 ounces  cooked boneless ham, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (1/3 cup)
  • 4   eggs
  • 1/4 cup  water
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon  freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon  butter
