Ingredients
- 1 lb bulk sausage (as plain as possible)
- 1/3 green bell pepper
- 1/3 red bell pepper
- 1/3 yellow bell pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped celery
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic , minced or mashed.
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 Tsp Cajun/Creole spice blend (mine has paprika, onion, garlic, black pepper, lemon peel, chile powder, allspice, thyme, clove, mace, red pepper and bay leaf)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 15oz can black beans drained and rinsed
- 1 15oz can red beans with liquid
- 2 cups rice
- 2 to 3 cups chicken broth or water or a mixture of the two.
Description
Beans And Rice Are A Complete Protein.... But Can We Get "Corn Chips Are Veggies" (my Hubby) To Go Along With It? I Gathered Some Arromatics, A Couple Different Beans, A Cajun Creole Spice Blend, And A Pound Of Sausage To Keep My Veggie
