Ingredients
- 4 strips bacon cut into small pieces (a small packaged of pancetta works as well, and no prep needed)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 large yellow onion, diced,
- 1 bell pepper (green or red or yellow - whatever suits your fancy), cored and diced
- 1 palmful of your favorite italian seasoning, or your own blend
- I pound lean ground beef
- 14 1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes
- 15 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 tsps. soy sauce
- 1tbls worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
