Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large green bell pepper cut in half and cored
  • 2 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1/4 of a small onion chopped
  • 4 oz. ground sausage
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup shredded cabage ( red or green)
  • 1/4 cup grated carrots or zuchini (optional)
  • 1/2-3/4 cooked basmati rice (white or brown)
  • 1/2 grated cheese of choice
  • red pepper flakes
  • sea salt
  • pepper
