- 1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
- 3/4 to 1 cup plain soy milk or rice milk or almond milk
- 1 egg, beaten (or you can use egg substitute)
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 carrot, scrubbed and grated
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- nutmeg
- sea salt
- black pepper, freshly ground
- 3/4 cup good, chunky tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons yogurt or light sour cream
- cinnamon
