- 2 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar, divided
- 10 eggs
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 cup half and half
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
