Ingredients
- For Pizza
- 1 large pizza crust, homemade or store bought, slightly prebaked and brushed with olive oil
- 2-3T olive oil
- 8oz left over grilled rib eye, prime rib or filet mignon, or premium rare deli roast beef, sliced in strips
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 fresh jalapeno, chopped(optional)
- 1 sweet or red onion, chopped
- 6oz fresh mushrooms quartered or sliced
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- For Sauce
- 2T butter
- 3T flour
- 3/4-1 cup cream or half and half
- dash of cayenne or hot sauce
- 4oz cheddar or colby cheese, freshly shredded*
- kosher or sea salt and fresh ground pepper(+/- a dash of your favorite salt blend, including garlic, onion, etc)
Description
My Take On A Fairly Common Twist On The Famous Sandwich. I Wanted Some Of The Traditional Flavors, But I Wanted To Make My Own Sauce. This Turned Out Great, And The Sauce, While Not Cheez Wiz, Gave A Great Base.
