Ingredients
- 1 filet or other high quality steak, about 4-6oz
- kosher or sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
- olive oil
- about 4 cups mixed baby greens
- 1/2 cup french fried onions
- For Creole Remoulade crab Salad
- 8oz premium crab meat(or lobster)
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1-2 jalapenos finely diced(I used 2 hot reds)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2t fresh dill, chopped
- 2t Old Bay Seasoning
- 1t Cajun or creole seasoning
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise(more if needed for consistency)
- 1T creole mustard
- dash of hot sauce(Louisiana or Tabasco)
- squirt of fresh lemon juice
- For Dressing
- 1 1/2T balsamic vinegar
- 1T fresh lemon juice
- grated onion or shallot(I used 2 large green onions, whites only, but any oniony ingredient would work ;)
- 2t worcestershire sauce
- 1T creole mustard
- 1/2cc salad quality olive oil
- kosher or sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
