Grilled Salmon with Sweet Onions and Red Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  2. 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  3. 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  4. Four 6-ounce salmon fillets, with skin
  5. 2 small sweet onions, halved crosswise but not peeled
  6. 2 red bell peppers—stemmed, cored and quartered lengthwise
  7. 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  8. Salt and freshly ground pepper
  9. 1 teaspoon chopped thyme
  10. 1 tablespoon chopped marjoram
