Ingredients

4 (4-6 oz.) salmon fillets, skinless,

½ small bunch asparagus, trimmed

1 c. broccoli florets

Water for steaming

Garnish: cilantro leaves

Marinade:

1 tsp. Chinese 5 spice
pinch white pepper

2 TB sake

1 tsp. sesame oil
½ -inch fresh ginger, peeled, thinly sliced

Sauce:
2 TB vegetable oil
2 TB ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 TB salted beans, rinsed, drained
¼ c. dry sherry
2 TB soy sauce
1 TB oyster sauce
1 TB honey
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 TB cornstarch mixed with ¼ c. water
