- 1 cup fine Dried Breadcrumbs
- 2 cups Basic Tomato Sauce (Parmigiana Variation), heated
- 4 slices gruyere, sliced thinly
- 4 thin slices prosciutto
- ¼ cup clarified butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Flaked salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- A small amount of butter for the baking dish
- Grated parmesan
