  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 tablespoons plain flour
  • 125ml milk
  • 1 small swede, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 675g cooked turkey, cubed
  • For the dumplings:
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped (30g)
  • 2 slices white bread, quartered
  • 150g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 125ml milk
  • 50g butter, melted
