Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground fenugreek
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground dried arbol chile peppers(or chili peppers of your choice)
  • 3/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Flank Steak

    • 1 1/2 lbs flank steaks, scalloped
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 2 cups chopped onions
    • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
    • 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce
    • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
    • 1 cup medium-diced carrot
    • 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
    • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
    • 3 tablespoons buckwheat flour, preferred or 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 2 cups beef stock
    • 2 (13 ounce) cans unsweetened coconut milk
    • 4 cups broccoli florets
