  • 45g (1/4 cup, lightly packed) brown sugar
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp black peppercorns, lightly crushed
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbs balsamic vinegar
