Beef Teriyaki

Ingredients

    12 oz. beef
    Sauce Ingredients:
    1/4 cup red wine
    2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1/4 cup lite soy sauce
    1 cup water

    2 onion
    3 carrots
    2 heads of broccoli, only tree part
    Olive oil for sauteing meat and onions
    corn starch for thickening, about 2 tablespoons


    Directions:
    First cut all broccoli into smaller piece, it should just be the crowns so make them into smaller bunches. Cut carrots and onions into slices, making strips of each one.

    Next cook the meet with olive oil in a heated wok or in a sauce pan, big enough to add all ingredients for sauce as well as carrots and broccoli, and onions.

    Once meat is brown, add onions. In an additional sauce pan, begin cooking sauce while meat is browning, add all sauce ingredients together, boiling until bouillon cube is dissolved, once cube is dissolved, add cornstarch to thicken sauce, bring to a boil. Add the onions to the meat. Cook for about 5 minutes.

    Add carrots and broccoli, between 5-10 minutes and sauce before serving, cook with lid all together so that everything is covered. Serve with Rice.
