baby carrots, sliced
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
1/2 tbsp oregano
1/2 tbsp basil
2 tbsp parsley
2 whole bay leaves (to be removed before serving)
2 cups Ronzoni Ditalini no. 40 pasta, or other small pasta
salt and pepper to taste
