4 garlic cloves minced
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup spicy brown (Dijon) mustard
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup apple juice
3/4 cup bourbon
salt and pepper to taste
