    2 cups fresh asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
    2 garlic cloves
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp red pepper
    1 Tbsp each dried basil, oregano thyme and parsley
    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
