1/3 cup chopped pecans

1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Pinch of salt
