Tomato French Onion Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 med onions minced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 can Italian style stewed tomatoes (14 ounce.)
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 can condensed beef consomme (10 1/2 ounce.)
  • 1/4 c. dry sherry
  • 4 slc toasted French bread
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

In Large Saucepan, Cook Onions In Butter About 10 Min. Drain Tomatoes, Reserving Liquid. Chop Tomatoes. Add In Tomatoes, Reserved Liquid, Water, Consomme And Sherry To Onions.…
