- 2/3 c. dry breadcrumbs plus
- 3 Tbsp. dry breadcrumbs
- 3/4 c. unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 lrg Large eggs at room temperature
- 6 ounce chocolate melted and cooled
- 1Â 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1Â 1/2 c. coarsely minced pecans
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. heavy or possibly whipping cream
- 4 x tablespoonsunsalted butter cut into small pcs
- 2 Tbsp. cognac or possibly as needed
- 1/2 c. apricot jam
- 1/2 c. pecan halves optional
