  • 6 ounce dry California apricots
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp almond liqueur
  • 1 pch salt
  • 20 x wonton wrappers thawed if frzn,
  •     and covered loosely with a damp paper
  •     towel to prevent drying
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 c. maple syrup
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
