  • 1-1/2 cups  snipped pitted dates (one 8-ounce package)
  • 1/2 cups  dried apricots, snipped
  • 1 tablespoon  finely shredded orange peel
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons  dried rosemary, crushed
  • 2-1/4 cups  all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons  baking soda
  • 1/2 cup  butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup  sugar
  • 1   egg
  • 1/3 cup  evaporated milk
