- chilli powder to taste (suggest 1 level tsp)
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp white poppy seeds – roasted and then ground in a pestle and mortar
- 500g pot of natural yoghurt
- 3 onions, sliced thinly
- 12 cloves
- 24 black peppercorns
- 6 to 8 green cardamoms
- 4-5 bay leaves
- 4-5 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
