- 8oz/225 g butter
- 8oz/225g caster sugar
- 8oz/225g Self raising flour
- 4 eggs
- 2oz/50g cocoa powder
- 1 dessert spoon buttermilk or sour cream
- 1 dessert spoon golden syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
for the filling and the top:
- 3oz/75g raspberries
- 1lb/45g icing sugar (you may need more or less of this depends how juicy your raspberries are)
- 5oz/150g desiccated coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 250g dark chocolate
- small tub of double cream
