Pork Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4-5lb pork butt or Blade roast
  • 1 ½ Cups baby carrots
  • 8 Medium potatoes pealed and quartered
  • 1 Large onion chopped
  • 1 Large bell pepper sliced (I use red yellow or orange green gives the dish a sickly color)
  • 4 Cups hot water
  • 2 T spoons olive oil or bacon fat
  • gravy
  • 2 T spoons drippings
  • 2 Cups hot water
  • 1 ½ T corn Starch
  • ½ Cup cold water
  • 1 t spoon dry thyme
  • 1 t spoon seasoned pepper
  • 1 t spoon salt
  • 1/8 -1/4 t spoon rubbed sage

Description

I Have Fixed A Lot Of Beef Pot Roasts But Never A Pork Pot Roast And Since Pork Is Generally Less Expensive Then Beef, This Makes This Dish Very Affordable. Also I Enjoy A Good Pot Roast, I Hope You Enjoy.
