Ingredients
- 4-5lb pork butt or Blade roast
- 1 ½ Cups baby carrots
- 8 Medium potatoes pealed and quartered
- 1 Large onion chopped
- 1 Large bell pepper sliced (I use red yellow or orange green gives the dish a sickly color)
- 4 Cups hot water
- 2 T spoons olive oil or bacon fat
- gravy
- 2 T spoons drippings
- 2 Cups hot water
- 1 ½ T corn Starch
- ½ Cup cold water
- 1 t spoon dry thyme
- 1 t spoon seasoned pepper
- 1 t spoon salt
- 1/8 -1/4 t spoon rubbed sage
Description
I Have Fixed A Lot Of Beef Pot Roasts But Never A Pork Pot Roast And Since Pork Is Generally Less Expensive Then Beef, This Makes This Dish Very Affordable. Also I Enjoy A Good Pot Roast, I Hope You Enjoy.
