Ingredients
- 1 butternut squash, cut into 1/2 and seeds scooped out
- 6 strips of bacon ( my husband always buys bulk from costco & its maple flavor) crumbled
- 1 quart of heavy cream ( I use half and half)
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar,divided
- 2 c chicken broth
- 1 lg sweet onion, chopped
- 1/2 stick butter
- parmesan cheese
