- 1/4 cup olive oil
- For anchovies
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4-5 cups vegetable oil
- 1/4 pound fresh anchovies (about 8 fillets)
