Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil or vegetable oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
- 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup rice - your choice - I personally like basmati rice for this recipe
- 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced or well diced
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1/3 large Bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 5-6 ounces green peas (frozen peas are fine)
Description
This Recipe Is Very Flexible In Terms Of The Ingredients You Use. I Like Making This Meal Using Chicken Stock, But You Can Substitute Cream Of Chicken Soup, Or Cream Of Mushroom Soup Or Cream Of Celery Soup If You Prefer. You Can Also Add Or Substitute
