- 8 slices sandwich bread, cubed (better if it's day-old bread, but fresh works ok too)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 T. chopped parsley
- 1/2 T. dried rosemary
- 1/2 T. dried dill
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1-1.5 cups chicken broth
- 3 T. olive oil (or butter)
- salt & pepper
