Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (thawed), peeled, deveined, tails removed & chopped
  • 1 andouille sausage, chopped
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 1/4 cup wild rice
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 celery stocks, diced
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp: salt, freshly ground black pepper, dried oregano, dried thyme, cayenne pepper, garlic powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • a few sprigs fresh thyme
  • olive oil

Description

Flavorful And Filling! This Southern Dish Can Be As Spicy Or Mild As You'd Like; Just Monitor How Much Cayenne Pepper You Add :) I Used Emeril's Creole Seasoning Recipe, Minus The Onion Powder.
