• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
• 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
• 6 ounces angel hair pasta
• blue cheese crumbles, to taste
• 4-6 large basil leaves, chopped
