- 2 turnips, peeled and chopped small.
- 5 large stalks of celery
- 1 - 16 ounce package of green split peas
- 2 cans of pinto beans, drained
- 1 cup pearl barley
- 6 large carrots, peeled and cut diagonally into 1 inch peices
