- 1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
- 10 oz potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 garlic cloves
- 5 cups water
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 4 slices of parma ham, grilled or fried until crispy
