- 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 14-ounce can reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons sherry
- 1 5-ounce can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg, to taste
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup slivered or sliced almonds
Description
