Ingredients
- 6 cups berries(fresh or thawed and drained, frozen)
- 3/4-1 cup sugar, depending on sweetness preference and berries used
- 1/4 cup cornstarch or 1T arrowroot(this is what I use)
- dash of fresh nutmeg, ground
- 2t fresh lemon juice
- 1t lemon zest
- 2T honey
- 2T butter, melted
- 1 small egg, beaten
- 2T raw sugar(I used my own vanilla sugar)
- Double pastry, either homemade or frozen.
Description
Around Here, We Really Only Eat Pies In Autumn, For Whatever Reason. :) So, This Is Used With My End Of The Summer Berries That Were Previously Frozen. Any Berry Or Cherry Combo Can Be Used!
