Ingredients
- Boneless chicken - breasts or thighs cut down into large or small strips.
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1/2 onion diced.
- mushrooms if desired
- 2 cloves garlic
- vegetables = Your choice of three or more of the following:
- celery diced
- green peppers
- broccoli
- cauliflower
- diced carrots
- zucchini sliced
- asparagus
- sugar peas
- water chestnuts
- or cabbage chopped
- Or almost any other vegetable that you can think of.
- noodles - dried like Ramen or fresh noodles your choice
- fresh spinach
- Spices:
- garlic sea salt in Grinder
- black pepper in Grinder
- Your choice of the following spices depending on the flavor you are going for:
- For a south taste:
- A good meat rub with low salt content
- or a mix of cajun spices
- For an oriental feel:
- ginger
- Cinamon
- Chinese 5 spice
- a drop or two of soy sauce
- For a curry flavor add curry spices
- You may add nuts to the mix at the same time you add your vegetables.
- orange or half a lime may be added to change the flavor dramatically.
- Flavored jelly can be added to the chicken while the chicken and onions are cooking.
- Bottled sauce can be added in small amounts such as ginger sauce when sauteing the onions and chicken.
- If the pan seems to be getting dry and you think you need more oil in the pan, add just a touch of water to the bottom of the pan rather than adding more oil.
