• 1 gallon water
• 6 bay leaves
• 3 lbs chicken breasts, thighs, or both
• 10 oz fettuccine
• 6 tbs soy sauce
• 2 tbs sugar
• 1 tbs plus tsp dry sherry
• 2 tsp creamy peanut butter
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
• 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
• 1/4 tsp ground ginger
• salt to taste
• 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
• 1/4 cup diced yellow bell pepper
• 1/4 cup sliced scallion (white and green parts)
• 1/4 cup chopped snow peas (substituted sweet peas)
• 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (I omit the nuts and add more peanut butter)
