Ingredients
- ⢠500g (1lb) pasta, Elbow, rigatoni, rotini, whatever.
- ⢠500g (1lb) lamb or beef mince, your choice.
- ⢠2 Tbs olive oil
- ⢠2 â 6 strips smoked bacon, chopped.
- ⢠¼ cup sliced fresh mushrooms.
- ⢠¼ cup sliced kalamata olives.
- ⢠½ cup broccoli florets, cut into lady fingers.
- ⢠1 red bell pepper, chopped.
- ⢠1 small stalk celery, chopped.
- ⢠1 lg clove garlic, diced.
- ⢠Pinch or two of fresh basil, to taste.
- ⢠Pinch or two of italian seasoning, to taste.
- ⢠2 Tbs sour cream.
- ⢠3 â 4 Tbs real mayonnaise.
- ⢠2 â 4 Tbs butter, to balance.
- ⢠1 - 4 med hot chilies, (optional) to taste. Poblanos work well here.
- ⢠Sprinkle of paprika
- ⢠salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste.
