- 1/2 lb pound shrimp,deveined and peeled OR
- 1 cup chicken breast,diced

- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup cabbage,chopped
- 1 tomato,diced
- 1 egg,beaten
- 1 cup fresh basil,reserve shredding until ready to use
- oil for frying
- dry roasted unsalted peanuts
- cilantro for garnish,optional
- 1 lime,for garnish,cut in wedges
- 2 Tbls oyster sauce
- 1 tbls rice vinegar
- 1 Tbls Asian fish sauce
- 1 Tbls palm sugar,or regular brown or white
- 1 Tbls lime juice
- 1 Tsp ground chili flakes or Sambal chili sauce
