GLAZE
- 1 tablespoon solid vegetable shortening
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
