Picadillo - Cuban Meat Hash

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Potatoes, diced small
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 whole Bell Pepper, I use one red and one green, diced fine
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced fine
  • 1 whole Onion, diced fine
  • 13 Wine, red, white... whatever is already open in the fridge. If you don't have wine substitute a mild vinegar
  • 1 envelope sazon goya con culantro y achiote, found in the hispanic section of the store. is a box of about 12 envelopes
  • 1 12 Cinnamon
  • 28 ounces Canned Diced Tomatoes, I use petite diced
  • 4 ounces Tomato Paste
  • 3 whole Dried Whole Bay Leaf
  • 13 Raisins
  • 14 cube Capers
  • 12 cup Green Olives, diced fine, sometimes I use a jar of olive tapenade when I am feeling lazy
  • 13 Fresh Cilantro, minced

Description

Served With A Side Of Rice, Or With Warmed Tortillas This Is Delicious. We Also Sometimes Add A Poached Or Fried Egg (keeps Yolks About Medium) On Top For Extra Yummyness.
