2 lg yellow onions thinly sliced
1 cup sherry or red wine
2 cups beef broth
4 teaspoons minced garlic.
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 spring fresh thyme
3 tablespoons olive oil
sea salt and pepper to taste
parsley, for garnish
1 package egg noodles (follow the preparation instructions on package)
